## Abstract

A roll-slide display device includes a first frame, a second frame, and a third frame which configure an outer periphery, a flexible display unit which includes a first area coupled to the first frame, a second area coupled to the third frame, and a third area located between the first area and the second area, and a magnet provided in the second frame, in which the flexible display unit includes a display panel and a magnetic sheet disposed on a rear surface of the display panel and the first frame slides to the left and right with respect to the second frame to implement a default state and an extended state.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A slidable display device, comprising:
a first frame, a second frame, and a third frame that define an outer periphery;
a flexible display which includes a first portion coupled to the first frame, a second portion coupled to the third frame, and a third portion located between the first portion and the second portion, wherein the flexible display further includes:
a display panel;
a roller located on an end portion of the second frame;
a support frame configured to support the display panel on a rear surface of the display panel; and
a first adhesive film disposed between the display panel and the support frame,
wherein the support frame includes an opening pattern in an area overlapping the roller, and
wherein the first frame is configured to slide with respect to the second frame to implement a default state and an extended state of the flexible display, respectively.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The slidable display device according to claim 1, further comprising:
a magnetic sheet disposed on the rear surface of the display panel; and
a magnet provided in the second frame.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The slidable display device according to claim 2, further comprising:
a first adhesive film disposed between the display panel and the magnetic sheet; and
a second adhesive film disposed between the magnetic sheet and the support frame.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The slidable display device according to claim 1, wherein the first portion is fixed to a front surface of the first frame, a first part of the third portion which is adjacent to the first portion in a first direction covers a front surface of the second frame, and a remaining second part of the third portion covers a rear surface of the second frame.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The slidable display device according to claim 1, wherein the second portion is located on a rear surface of the slidable display device and is indirectly coupled to the second frame and directly coupled to the third frame.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The slidable display device according to claim 1, wherein the second frame includes a slide slot disposed on a rear surface of the second frame, the third frame configured to move along the slide slot.

### Claim 7 (depends on 2)

The slidable display device according to claim 2, wherein the first frame includes:
a first front surface portion coupled to the first portion;
a first rear surface portion at a rear surface of the first frame, the first rear surface portion exposed to an external environment in the default and extended states; and
a second rear surface portion which is covered by the second portion and the third portion in the default state and is exposed to the external environment only in the extended state.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The slidable display device according to claim 7, wherein the second frame includes:
a second front surface portion located on a rear surface of the first front surface portion of the first frame; and
a third rear surface portion which covers a rear surface of the second rear surface portion of the first frame,
wherein the second front surface portion of the second frame supports the third portion of the flexible display unit in the extended state.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The slidable display device according to claim 1, wherein the roller abuts onto an inner surface of the flexible display and rotates together with movement of the flexible display so that when the first frame slides, the flexible display moves in response from a rear surface of the first frame to a front surface of the first frame or from the front surface to the rear surface of the first frame.

### Claim 10 (depends on 8)

The slidable display device according to claim 8, wherein the support frame is disposed between the flexible display and the second front surface portion of the second frame in the extended state.

### Claim 11 (depends on 8)

The slidable display device according to claim 8, wherein the magnet is disposed in the second front surface portion of the second frame.

### Claim 12 (depends on 2)

The slidable display device according to claim 2, wherein the magnetic sheet includes ferromagnetic powder and a polymer resin.

### Claim 13 (depends on 3)

The slidable display device according to claim 3, wherein the first and second adhesive films include optically clear adhesive films.

### Claim 14 (depends on 2)

The slidable display device according to claim 2, wherein the magnetic sheet is disposed on an entire rear surface of the flexible display.

### Claim 15 (depends on 2)

The slidable display device according to claim 2, wherein the magnetic sheet is disposed only on a rear surface of the third portion of the flexible display.

### Claim 16 (depends on 2)

The slidable display device according to claim 2, wherein the magnet is disposed adjacent to the roller.

### Claim 17 (depends on 1)

The slidable display device according to claim 1, wherein the display panel includes a plurality of sub-pixels, and
wherein each of the plurality of sub-pixels includes a light emitting diode and a pixel circuit for driving the light emitting diode.
