Abstract
A color mixing light system comprises a pyramidal mirror assembly comprising three or more mirrors constructed and arranged in a pyramid structure and three or more color light sources. The pyramidal mirror assembly divides the light beams from the color light sources so that a first portion is reflected by the mirrors and a second portion extends beyond the mirrors to collectively form a multicolor pattern comprising plurality of overlapping color regions on a surface.
Claims10
A color mixing light system, comprising:
- a pyramidal mirror assembly comprising three or more mirrors constructed and arranged in a pyramid structure;
- and
- a color light source module that generates light comprising color contents, wherein the color light source module directs the light comprising the color contents at the three or more mirrors which are constructed and arranged to articulate to perform a pixel-level color-changing operation on the color contents.
A color mixing light system, comprising:
- three or more Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) mirrors;
- three color light source modules, wherein the three or more MEMS mirrors change a color mixing pattern formed of outputs of the three or more color light source modules;
- and
- a beam steering mechanism that pivots the three or more MEMS mirrors individually to control a color mixing of one or more pixels of the color mixing pattern, wherein the three or more MEMS mirrors are constructed and arranged to articulate to perform a pixel-level color-changing operation on the color mixing pattern.
