## Abstract

A center plug for attenuating noise in a gas turbine engine includes an inner skin, a forward bulkhead, and aft bulkhead, and a noise attenuation panel. The inner skin has a substantially cylindrical shape and extending along an axial centerline. The forward bulkhead is disposed proximate a forward end of the inner skin. The forward bulkhead is connected to and extends radially outward from the inner skin. The aft bulkhead is disposed proximate an aft end of the inner skin. The aft bulkhead is connected to and extending radially outward from the inner skin. The noise attenuation panel is positioned intermediate the inner skin and partially divides a region bounded by the inner skin, the forward bulkhead and the aft bulkhead into.

an aft bulkhead disposed proximate an aft end of the inner skin, the aft bulkhead connected to and extending radially outward from the inner skin;
an outer skin, the outer skin connected to and positioned radially outward of the forward bulkhead and the aft bulkhead;
a plurality of baffles spaced circumferentially about the inner skin and extend radially between the inner skin and the outer skin and axially between the forward bulkhead and the aft bulkhead; and
a noise attenuation panel disposed on a first side of each baffle of the plurality of baffles, the noise attenuation panel positioned such that noise is received in a rotating pattern in a first direction.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The center plug of claim 1, wherein the outer skin, the inner skin, the forward bulkhead and the aft bulkhead define an annular chamber.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)
