Abstract
A cell hydrolysate composition is described, wherein the composition comprises substantially all protein polypeptides and/or polypeptide fragments derived substantially from all the proteins in a cell from an in vitro cell culture.
Claims3
An artificially generated cell hydrolysate composition, the composition comprising:
- (i) a mixture of polypeptide fragments from collagen 1 α1 comprising at least 56 sequences selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOS:
- 1-112;
- (ii) a mixture of polypeptide fragments from collagen 1 β1 comprising at least 51 sequences selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOs:
- 113-214;
- (iii) a mixture of polypeptide fragments from connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) comprising at least 17 sequences selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOs:
- 215-249;
- (iv) a mixture of protein polypeptides and/or polypeptide fragments from Decorin comprising at least 18 sequences selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOs:
- 250-285;
- wherein the polypeptide fragments are from an in vitro cell culture ;
- and
- wherein the purity of the polypeptide fragments in the artificially generated cell hydrolysate composition is higher than that in a cell hydrolysate obtained from an animal tissue or a plant tissue.
