## Abstract

Compositions and methods for the treatment of cancer and/or inflammatory diseases are provided. A combination of interleukin-10 (IL-10) and interleukin-12 (IL-12) is used to treat cancer and/or inflammatory diseases, and a combination of an anti-PD-1 antibody and an anti-IL-17 antibody is used to treat cancer.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method of treating a cancer in a subject in need thereof, comprising
treating the subject with an anti-PD-1 antibody,
measuring a level of IL-17 produced by CD4+ T-cells in the subject,
identifying an increase in IL-17 produced by CD4+ T-cells, and
administering to the subject a combination of an anti-IL-17 antibody and an anti-PD-1 antibody,
wherein the cancer is colon cancer or lung cancer.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the cancer is not responsive to treatment with the anti-PD-1 antibody alone.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the cancer is lung cancer.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the cancer is colon cancer.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the combination of the anti-IL-17 antibody and the anti-PD-1 antibody is administered in a singular formulation.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the combination of the anti-IL-17 antibody and the anti-PD-1 antibody is administered in separate formulations.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the IL-17 measured in the measuring step is IL-17A.
