Abstract
An ostomy barrier appliance for attaching an ostomy appliance to peristomal skin surrounding a stoma is provided. The ostomy barrier appliance includes a skin barrier, an inlet opening for receiving a stoma, and a convexity adjusting device arranged adjacent the skin barrier. The convexity adjusting device is configured to adjust the convexity of the skin barrier.

An ostomy barrier appliance for attaching an ostomy appliance to a peristomal skin surrounding a stoma, the ostomy barrier appliance comprising:
- a skin barrier comprising an adhesive;
- an inlet opening defined in the skin barrier for receiving a stoma;
- and
- a convexity adjusting device arranged adjacent the skin barrier, the convexity adjusting device including a fixed insert and an adjustable insert;
- wherein the convexity adjusting device is configured to adjust a convexity of the skin barrier by rotating the adjustable insert.
