Locking medication containers and methods of use thereof

A medication container comprising:

• a cone extending upward from a bottom of the medication container and wherein the cone has a non-infinite sloped surface, wherein the medication container includes an indicator of a medication;
• and
• a turntable having an opening defined therein, wherein the turntable is rotatably connected to the cone wherein the opening rotates along with the turntable and wherein a size parameter of the opening is selected based on one or more dimensions of the medication;
• a destruction mechanism configured to destroy the medication if there is a security breach of the medication container;
• and
• a continuous wire disposed along a surface of the medication container and a sensor configured to detect a break of the continuous wire, and wherein the destruction mechanism is in communication with the medication container and wherein the destruction mechanism is activated upon a detected break of the continuous wire.
