Abstract
A flow reactor system and methods having tubing useful as polymerization chamber. The flow reactor has at least one inlet and at least one mixing chamber, and an outlet. The method includes providing two phases, an aqueous phase and a non-aqueous phase and forming an emulsion for introduction into the flow reactor.

A system for continuous flow, diffusion-limited synthesis of a conductive polymer salt comprising:
- a mixing chamber configured to form an emulsified reactant composition;
- one or more amounts of tubing disposed to receive the emulsified reactant composition from the mixing chamber, wherein the one or more amounts of tubing are configured to provide diffusion-limiting conditions within the one or more amounts of tubing to polymerize a monomer of the emulsified reactant composition to form the conductive polymer salt in the one or more amounts of tubing;
- and
- a fluid line coupled to each of the one or more amounts of tubing configured to introduce a collection medium into the one or more amounts of tubing.

- one or more amounts of tubing fluidically coupled to the mixing chamber,
- wherein each of the one or more amounts of tubing comprise a plurality of inlet ports disposed along a length of the one or more amounts of tubing, the plurality of inlet ports configured to introduce the emulsified reactant composition from the mixing chamber into the one or more amounts of tubing, and
- wherein the one or more amounts of tubing are configured to provide diffusion-limiting conditions within the one or more amounts of tubing to polymerize a monomer of the emulsified reactant composition and to form the conductive polymer salt in the one or more amounts of tubing;
- and
- a fluid line coupled to each of the one or more amounts of tubing configured to introduce a collection medium into the one or more amounts of tubing.
