Abstract
The present disclosure provides devices for delivery of powder formulations and methods of manufacture and use of such devices.
Claims21
A device for delivering a therapeutic formulation, wherein said device comprises:
- a pump,
- a reservoir containing said therapeutic formulation,
- a retainer, and
- a valve comprising a surface groove,
- wherein when said pump is activated, air from said pump flows by said retainer, and through said surface groove, thereby generating a vortex in said reservoir when said device is activated;
- and
- wherein said valve is stationary during activation of said pump.
