Abstract
A non-aqueous electrolyte solution for a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery including the same are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a non-aqueous electrolyte solution for a lithium secondary battery, includes a lithium salt, an organic solvent, and an additive, wherein the additive includes a compound represented by Formula 1.
Claims8
A lithium secondary battery comprising:
- a positive electrode comprising a positive electrode active material;
- a negative electrode comprising a negative electrode active material;
- a separator disposed between the negative electrode and the positive electrode;
- and
- a non-aqueous electrolyte solution,
- wherein the positive electrode active material comprises at least one of a lithium cobalt oxide, a lithium-nickel-manganese-cobalt-based oxide, or a lithium-manganese-based oxide,
- the non-aqueous electrolyte solution comprises a lithium salt;
- an organic solvent;
- and an additive, and
- the additive comprises a compound represented by Formula 1:
- wherein, in Formula 1,
- R1 to R3 are each independently a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms.
