Abstract
A concrete tank includes a dome roof formed of concrete at least partially cast in place and a lid. The dome roof has an access opening extending through the dome roof in a vertical direction. The lid is positioned to cover the access opening with a portion of an inner lid surface overlapping a portion of an outer dome roof surface along the vertical direction. A lid bearing element is disposed between the inner lid surface and the outer dome roof surface along the vertical direction.

A concrete tank, comprising:
- a dome roof formed of concrete at least partially cast in place, the dome roof having an access opening extending through the dome roof in a vertical direction;
- a lid positioned to cover the access opening with a portion of an inner lid surface overlapping a portion of an outer dome roof surface along the vertical direction;
- a lid bearing element disposed between the inner lid surface and the outer dome roof surface along the vertical direction;
- and
- a sealant disposed at a seam between the dome roof and the lid.

- a dome roof formed of concrete at least partially cast in place, the dome roof having an access opening extending through the dome roof in a vertical direction, the dome roof has a plurality of precast sections secured together by a plurality of closure strips that are cast in place;
- a lid positioned to cover the access opening with a portion of an inner lid surface overlapping a portion of an outer dome roof surface along the vertical direction;
- and
- a lid bearing element disposed between the inner lid surface and the outer dome roof surface along the vertical direction.
