Band-pass filter and method

A band-pass filter (BPF) comprising:

• a first winding comprising:
• first and second terminals;
• a first outer extending portion extending from the first terminal;
• a second outer extending portion extending from the second terminal;
• and
• a first conductive structure configured to electrically connect the first and second outer extending portions to each other at a location opposite the first and second terminals;
• a second winding comprising:
• third and fourth terminals positioned between the first and second terminals;
• and
• a second conductive structure electrically connected to the third and fourth terminals and extending between the first conductive structure and each of the first and second outer extending portions;
• and
• a coupling device electrically connected to each of the first and third terminals.

A method of generating an oscillation signal, the method comprising:

• receiving a voltage at a first terminal of a first winding of a band-pass filter (BPF) and at a second terminal of a second winding of the BPF;
• one or both of:
• receiving a first output of a circuit stage at a third terminal of the first winding:
• or
• receiving a second output of the circuit stage at a fourth terminal of the second winding,
• wherein the BPF comprises:
• the first winding comprising:
• a first outer extending portion extending from the third terminal;
• a second outer extending portion extending from the first terminal;
• and
• a first conductive structure configured to electrically connect the first and second outer extending portions to each other at a location opposite the first and third terminals;
• and
• the second winding comprising:
• the second and fourth terminals positioned between the first and second terminals;
• and
• a second conductive structure electrically connected to the second and fourth terminals and extending between the first conductive structure and each of the first and second outer extending portions;
• and
• generating the oscillation signal in response to the voltage and the first and/or second output.
