Radiation imaging system

A radiation imaging system, comprising:

• a radiation imaging apparatus having a sensor panel in which a plurality of pixels are arranged in a matrix configured to acquire a radiation image;
• a radiation irradiation apparatus configured to irradiate radiation from a radiation source;
• an information processing apparatus configured to cause a display device to display information;
• and
• one or more controllers configured to control an operation of the radiation imaging apparatus, wherein
• said one or more controllers are configured (i) to sequentially acquire a plurality of radiation images in a state where radiation is continuously irradiated from the radiation source, wherein image signals required to acquire one radiation image are read from the plurality of pixels row by row, and (ii) transmit first radiation image to the information processing apparatus via a network in accordance with the completion of reading of image signals required to acquire the first radiation image, and continue until acquisition of image signals required to acquire second radiation image is completed according to detection of user instruction to terminate radiation irradiation by the radiation source during the reading of the image signals required to acquire the second radiation image following the first radiation image, and not transmit the second radiation image to the information processing apparatus via the network.

A radiation imaging system, comprising:

• a radiation imaging apparatus having a sensor panel in which a plurality of pixels are arranged in a matrix configured to acquire a radiation image;
• a radiation irradiation apparatus configured to irradiate radiation from a radiation source;
• an information processing apparatus configured to cause a display device to display information;
• and
• one or more controllers configured to control an operation of the radiation imaging apparatus, wherein
• said one or more controllers are configured (i) to sequentially acquire a plurality of radiation images in a state where radiation is continuously irradiated from the radiation source, wherein image signals required to acquire one radiation image are read from the plurality of pixels row by row;
• and (ii) cause the radiation imaging apparatus to operate by selecting one of (a) a first terminating operation configured, after a user instruction to terminate radiation irradiation by the radiation source is detected, to be put on hold until a timing of completion of reading of image signals from pixels of the predetermined row, and execute communication processing for stopping irradiation by the irradiation apparatus based on the completion of the reading of the image signals from the pixels in the predetermined row, and (b) a second terminating operation configured transmit first radiation image to the information processing apparatus via a network in accordance with the completion of reading of image signals required to acquire the first radiation image, and continue until acquisition of image signals required to acquire second radiation image is completed according to detection of user instruction to terminate radiation irradiation by the radiation source during the reading of the image signals required to acquire the second radiation image following the first radiation image, and not transmit the second radiation image to the information processing apparatus via the network.
