Abstract
A method includes: receiving an inlet temperature of a selective catalytic reduction system; comparing the inlet temperature to a temperature setpoint; and adjusting at least one of a first exhaust manifold pressure setpoint for a first cylinder bank of an engine or a second exhaust manifold pressure setpoint for a second cylinder bank of the engine, based on the comparison.
Claims20
A method, comprising:
- receiving an inlet temperature of a selective catalytic reduction system;
- comparing the inlet temperature to a temperature setpoint;
- and
- adjusting at least one of a first exhaust manifold pressure setpoint for a first cylinder bank of an engine or a second exhaust manifold pressure setpoint for a second cylinder bank of an engine, based on the comparison.
A system, the system comprising:
- one or more controllers including at least one processor and at least one memory storing instructions therein that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the one or more controllers to:
- receive an inlet temperature regarding a selective catalytic reduction system;
- compare the inlet temperature to a temperature setpoint;
- and
- adjust at least one of a first exhaust manifold pressure setpoint for a first set of cylinders of an engine or a second exhaust manifold pressure setpoint for a second set of cylinders of the engine, based on the comparison.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium having computer readable instructions embodied therein that, when executed by one or more processors, cause operations comprising:
- receiving an inlet temperature of a selective catalytic reduction system;
- comparing the inlet temperature to a temperature setpoint;
- and
- based on the comparison, adjusting at least one of a first exhaust manifold pressure setpoint for a first cylinder bank of an engine or a second exhaust manifold pressure setpoint for a second cylinder bank of the engine.
