Composite extrusion with non-aligned fiber orientation

An extruded building component comprising:

• a first portion comprising a first composition, the first composition comprising
• a first polymer resin;
• and
• cellulosic and/or lignocellulosic fibers, wherein the cellulosic and/or lignocellulosic fibers exhibit a first fiber orientation;
• a second portion comprising a second composition, the second composition comprising
• a second polymer resin;
• and
• glass fibers, wherein the glass fibers exhibit a second fiber orientation;
• wherein the first fiber orientation is different than the second fiber orientation, the glass fibers selected from the group consisting of silica glasses, borosilicate glasses, alumino-silicate glasses, and alumino-borosilicate glasses.

An extruded building component comprising:

• a first portion comprising a first composition, the first composition comprising
• a first thermoplastic polymer resin;
• and
• cellulosic and/or lignocellulosic fibers, wherein the cellulosic and/or lignocellulosic fibers exhibit a first fiber orientation;
• a second portion comprising a second composition, the second composition comprising
• a second thermoplastic polymer resin;
• and
• glass fibers, wherein the glass fibers exhibit a second fiber orientation;
• wherein the first fiber orientation is different than the second fiber orientation.
