Abstract
A cell including: a body having a first end portion and a second end portion; a first electrode layer electrically connected to the body; a solid electrolyte layer located on the first electrode layer; and a second electrode layer located on the solid electrolyte layer, wherein the body includes a flared gas-flow passage passing through the body from the first end portion to second end portion; and diameters of opposing end portions of the flared gas-flow passage are greater than a diameter of the flared gas-flow passage at a central portion between the opposing end portions.
Claims11
A cell comprising:
- a body having a first end portion and a second end portion, wherein the first end portion and the second end portion are opposing end portions;
- a first electrode layer electrically connected to the body;
- a solid electrolyte layer located on the first electrode layer;
- and
- a second electrode layer located on the solid electrolyte layer, wherein the body comprises a flared gas-flow passage passing through the body from the first end portion to the second end portion;
- and
- diameters of the opposing end portions of the flared gas-flow passage are greater than a diameter of the flared gas-flow passage at a central portion between the opposing end portions.
A cell comprising:
- a body having a first end portion and a second end portion, wherein the first end portion and the second end portion are opposing end portions;
- a first electrode layer electrically connected to the body;
- a solid electrolyte layer located on the first electrode layer;
- and
- a second electrode layer located on the solid electrolyte layer, wherein
- the body comprises a plurality of gas-flow passages passing through the body from the first end portion to the second end portion,
- the plurality of gas-flow passages comprises one or more flared gas-flow passages, and
- widths of the opposing end portions of the one or more flared gas-flow passages are greater than a width of the one or more flared gas-flow passages at a central portion between the opposing end portions.
