Sausage package dispensing nozzle system, device and method

A nozzle for dispensing a material contained in a collapsible package from a dispensing device, the nozzle comprising:

• a nozzle sidewall defining a nozzle cavity configured to receive a first end of the collapsible package;
• one or more piercing projections extending into the nozzle cavity;
• a nozzle end wall including a nozzle opening defined therethrough and in fluid communication with the nozzle cavity;
• and
• an internal rib extending over the nozzle opening that divides the nozzle opening into two or more opposite areas, the internal rib includes a middle portion that extends over the nozzle opening, and a piercing projection portion that extends at an angle from opposite ends of the middle portion toward the piercing projections.

A nozzle attachable to a dispensing end of a dispensing device for dispensing a material contained in a collapsible package from the dispensing device, the nozzle comprising:

• a nozzle sidewall defining an internal nozzle cavity configured to receive a first end of the collapsible package;
• one or more recessed members extending into the internal nozzle cavity;
• a nozzle end wall including a nozzle opening defined therethrough and in fluid communication with the internal nozzle cavity;
• an internal rib extending over the nozzle opening that divides the nozzle opening into two or more opposite areas;
• and
• one or more piercing projections extending in part from the one or more recessed members, the one or more piercing projections being configured to pierce the collapsible package and allow the material in the collapsible package to be dispensed through the nozzle opening.
