Remote adjustment of a row unit of an agricultural device

A method of controlling the depth of a furrow created by a furrow opener of an agricultural implement, the method comprising:

• sensing a furrow depth created by a furrow opener of an agricultural implement with an electronic sensor;
• displaying the sensed furrow depth on a user interface;
• and
• if the sensed furrow depth is outside of a parameter, adjusting the furrow depth via an actuator associated with the furrow opener by way of a remote cutting depth adjustment system.

An agricultural system, comprising:

• a remote cutting depth adjustment system comprising a user interface with a processing unit;
• a sensor configured to sense a depth of a furrow, said sensor in communication with the remote cutting depth adjustment system to display the sensed depth of the furrow;
• and
• an actuator in communication with the remote cutting depth adjustment system, said actuator configured to adjust the depth of the furrow.
