Programmable multi-waveform RF generator for use as battlefield decoy

A battlefield decoy, comprising:

• an RF housing;
• a electronic system mounted within the RF housing having programmable logic, an application processing unit, a real-time processing unit, a platform management unit, a cybersecurity unit, a memory controller connected to local DDR memory, and a peripheral controller connected to peripheral components;
• software programming code for transmitting a battlefield waveform signature, said software programming code saved to local DDR memory and executable by the application processing unit, said battlefield waveforms saved to local DDR memory;
• an RF module having software programming code saved to local DDR memory and executable by the application processing unit configured for controlling RF components in the RF housing;
• a GPS-denied network clocking synchronizer module having software programming code saved to local DDR memory and executable by the application processing unit configured for maintaining network clock synchronization in a GPS-denied environment;
• a transmission scheduler module having software programming code saved to local DDR memory and executable by the application processing unit configured for setting a schedule of transmission start times and transmission durations;
• an RF system mounted within the RF housing, said RF system having components selected from at least one antenna operationally connected to a duplexer, a power amplifier, a band pass filter, a mixer, a local oscillator, an intermediate frequency filter, a modulator, a baseband processor, a demodulator, a second intermediate frequency filter, a second mixer, a second local oscillator, a low noise amplifier, and a second band pass filter;
• a network interface controller;
• a GPS receiver with integrated GPS antenna;
• and
• a power supply.
