Abstract
A camera control unit obtains information related to an optical correction of an interchangeable lens from an intermediate accessory by a second communication via a second communication path. The camera control unit controls a communication in a manner that the above-described information is used for the optical correction of the interchangeable lens.
Claims14
An intermediate accessory which is attachable between an imaging apparatus and an interchangeable lens, the intermediate accessory comprising:
- a first communication terminal through which information is communicated between the imaging apparatus and the interchangeable lens;
- a second communication terminal configured to communicate with the imaging apparatus;
- and
- a communication control unit configured to transmit information related to a method for a correction of optical information of the interchangeable lens and information related to a parameter for the correction of the optical information via the second communication terminal,
- wherein lens information to be corrected transmitted from the interchangeable lens is communicated to the imaging apparatus via the first communication terminal.
A control method for an intermediate accessory which is attachable between an imaging apparatus and an interchangeable lens and includes a first communication terminal through which information is communicated between the imaging apparatus and the interchangeable lens, and includes a second communication terminal configured to communicate with the imaging apparatus, the control method comprising:
- transmitting, via the second communication terminal, information related to a method for a correction of optical information of the interchangeable lens and information related to a parameter for the correction of the optical information;
- and
- causing lens information to be corrected transmitted from the interchangeable lens is communicated to the imaging apparatus via the first communication terminal.
