Toaster with steam system

A steam-producing toaster comprising:

• a frame;
• a steam vessel;
• at least one toast slot for passage of a bread slice, the at least one toast slot defining an opening to the steam vessel;
• a tray aligned with the toast slot and located in the steam vessel, the tray configured for supporting a bread slice received via the at least one toast slot;
• a reservoir configured to receive water;
• a mechanism operatively connecting the tray to the frame and configured for moving a bread slice at least partially out of the toast slot at an end of a toasting steaming process;
• at least one heating element for generating toasting heat;
• a steam system configured for producing steam, the steam system generating during the toasting steaming process, the steam system being in fluid communication with the reservoir to receive water therefrom;
• and
• an outer shell covering at least partially the frame, the steam vessel and the a least one heating element;
• wherein the steam-producing toaster is configured to produce steam and generate toasting heat during the toasting steaming process.
