Display control device, display control method, computer program product, and communication system

A non-transitory computer readable memory that has computer readable instructions stored therein that upon execution of the computer readable instructions by processing circuitry causes the circuitry to implement a method for operating a movable apparatus, the method comprising:

• controllably driving a movement of the movable apparatus;
• capturing with a camera a captured image and producing image data;
• generating GPS information as current location information of the movable apparatus;
• transmitting to an instructing device the current location information of the movable apparatus and the image data, the instructing device displaying on a display
• the image data including an indication of a current location of the movable apparatus based on the current location information, and
• a visual indicator of a candidate target object in the display based on the image data;
• receiving feedback information from the instructing device, the feedback information indicating that the candidate target object is correctly identified as the target object, wherein the feedback information relates to detected user gesture information used to control an operation of the movable apparatus, and wherein the visual indicator is set to indicate that the candidate target object is the target object based on the feedback information;
• and
• controlling the movement of the movable apparatus and an operation of the camera based on the feedback information.

A controller that controls an operation of a movable apparatus, comprising:

• circuitry configured to
• controllably drive a movement of the movable apparatus,
• capture with a camera a captured image and produce image data,
• generate GPS information as current location information of the movable apparatus,
• transmit to an instructing device the current location information of the movable apparatus and the image data, the instructing device displaying on a display
• the image data including an indication of a current location of the movable apparatus based on the current location information, and
• a visual indicator of a candidate target object in the display based on the image data;
• receive feedback information from the instructing device, the feedback information indicating that the candidate target object is correctly identified as the target object, wherein the feedback information relates to detected user gesture information used to control an operation of the movable apparatus, and wherein the visual indicator is set to indicate that the candidate target object is the target object based on the feedback information, and
• control the movement of the movable apparatus and an operation of the camera based on the feedback information.
