Abstract
A fluoropropene composition comprising E-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene, 1,1,3,3,3-pentafluoropropene, and 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene, wherein the total amount of 1,1,3,3,3-pentafluoropropene and 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene is 1.0 wt. % or less, based on the total weight of the fluoropropene composition. A method of producing the fluoropropene, composition and methods for using the fluoropropene composition are also disclosed.
Claims22
A fluoropropene composition comprising at least 75 wt. % E-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (HFO-1234ze(E)) based on the total weight of the composition, Z-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (HFO-1234ze(Z)), and at least two additional members selected from one of difluoromethane (R-32), 1,1-difluoroethane (HFC-152a), 1,1,2,2-tetrafluouroethane (HFC-134), 1,1,1,2-tetrafluouroethane (HFC-134a), 1,1,1,2,2-petfluoropropane (HFC-245cb), or 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (HCFO-1224yd), wherein the amount of Z-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (HFO-1234ze(Z)) if present, and the total amount of the at least two additional members is at most 25 wt. % based on the total weight of the composition such that the total amount of the composition is 100%.
The composition of 6 further comprising HFO-1234yf present in an amount between ≥0 and 0.001 wt. % such that the total amount of the composition remains at 100%.
