Abstract
A method of processing coir, comprising using counter-rotating blades to shred compressed coir into dry, shredded coir.
Claims8
A method of processing coir, comprising:
- providing compressed, dry coir;
- and
- using counter-rotating blades having central holes to allow the blades to be mounted on one or more shafts to shred the compressed coir into dry, shredded coir, wherein a first type of counter-rotating blades having hooks are mounted on one or more shafts with a second type of counter-rotating blades that do not have hooks.
