## Abstract

Techniques for suggesting accessory devices controlled by an application executing on a mobile device are disclosed. A method includes measuring one or more sensor values using one or more sensors of a mobile device and the one or more sensor values are determined from one or more signals emitted by a first one or more accessory devices. An area of a physical space for the first one or more accessory devices can be determined based on the one or more sensor values. A second one or more accessory devices associated with the same area as the first one or more accessory devices can be suggested to a user.

### Claim 4 (depends on 2)

The method according to claim 2, wherein the current condition comprises one from a group consisting of a lighting condition, a weather condition and a temperature condition.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the controlling the first accessory device of the one or more accessory devices associated with the first location comprises automatically operating, by the mobile device, the first accessory device of the one or more accessory devices.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the controlling the first accessory device of the one or more accessory devices associated with the first location comprises automatically operating, by the mobile device, the first accessory device of the one or more accessory devices to perform an operation.

### Claim 7 (depends on 3)

The method according to claim 3, wherein the first accessory device is automatically operated in accordance with a user profile associated with the first accessory device.

### Claim 8 (depends on 3)

The method according to claim 3, wherein the first accessory device is automatically operated based one or more external conditions.

### Claim 9 (depends on 3)

The method according to claim 3, wherein the first accessory device is further controlled based on machine learned interactions of a user and the first accessory device.

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the one or more sensor values are obtained from the one or more sensors comprising a temperature sensor, a weather sensor, and a light sensor.

### Claim 11 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the first location corresponds to one or more rooms.

### Claim 12 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the one or more signals emitted by the one or more accessory devices comprises signal properties indicative of a distance between the mobile device and a point of origin of the one or more accessory devices.

### Claim 13
