Power receptacle assembly

A power receptacle assembly comprising:

• a base unit configured to be coupled to an under side of a work station and including:
• a base housing defining a housing interior;
• a constant voltage driver disposed within the housing interior;
• a face plate disposed at an opening of a front side of the housing interior;
• a first power receptacle disposed at the base housing and electronically coupled to the constant voltage driver in the housing, with the first power receptacle accessible at the face plate;
• a second power receptacle disposed at the base housing and electronically coupled to the constant voltage driver in the housing interior, with the second power receptacle accessible at the face plate;
• a base power cord extending through the base housing and electrically connected to the constant voltage driver, the base power cord configured to be electrically connected to a power source;
• a separator disposed between the first power receptacle and the second power receptacle;
• and
• a secondary unit configured to be disposed at an upper side of the work station and including a secondary housing defining a secondary housing interior, a secondary power receptacle disposed at the secondary housing, and a secondary power cord extending through the secondary housing and electrically coupled between the secondary power receptacle and the constant voltage driver.

A power receptacle assembly comprising:

• a base unit coupled to a power source and including:
• a housing including:
• a bottom structure;
• a cover coupled to the bottom structure;
• and
• first and second end caps coupled to the bottom structure and the cover, the first and second end caps configured to be coupled to an under side of a work station, wherein the bottom structure, the cover, and the first and second end caps define a housing interior;
• a constant voltage driver disposed within the housing interior;
• a low-voltage power receptacle electronically coupled to the constant voltage driver though the housing;
• and
• a power cord configured to be coupled to a source of electrical power;
• and
• a secondary unit electrically coupled to the base unit and including:
• a secondary housing defining a housing interior;
• a clamp coupled to the housing and configured to secure the secondary unit on a mounting surface of the work station;
• a secondary low-voltage power receptacle disposed at the secondary housing;
• and
• a secondary power cord extending through the secondary housing and electrically coupled between the secondary low-voltage power receptacle and the constant voltage driver in the housing.
