Lubricant composition

A motor configured to power an electric or hybrid vehicle, comprising a lubricant oil composition, the lubricant oil composition including:

• a polyalkylene glycol (PAG) base oil;
• at least one diester and at least one polyol ester that includes three or more ester groups;
• an additive package that includes at least a sulfur-based extreme pressure agent;
• and
• optionally a poly-alpha-olefin (PAO),
• wherein a total amount of the at least one diester and the at least one polyol ester in the lubricant oll composition is in the range of 20 to 43% by mass;
• an amount of the at least one diester being up to 13% by mass, and an amount of the at least one polyol ester being at least 7% by mass and up to 30% by mass;
• the sulfur-based extreme pressure agent includes a sulfur aliphatic acid;
• the lubricant oil composition includes 50% by mass or more of the PAG;
• and
• the PAG has an average molecular weight (Mn) in the range of 500 to 3000.
