## Abstract

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A wireless communications system may establish radio bearers for certain data transmissions between a user equipment (UE) and a base station. A radio bearer may be associated with one or more quality of services (QoS) parameters, such as a bit rate. The base station may indicate to the UE a time window over which to average the bit rate. In some examples, a radio bearer may include multiple data flows. The base station may provide information regarding QoS parameters for each data flow in control signaling, such as a grant.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE), comprising:
establishing a radio bearer with a network entity;
identifying a plurality of configured data flows mapped to the radio bearer; and
receiving, from the network entity and after identifying the plurality of configured data flows mapped to the radio bearer, a grant for communications with the network entity, the grant indicating a respective quality of service (QoS) parameter and a respective time window for which the UE averages the respective QoS parameter for each configured data flow of the identified plurality of configured data flows mapped to the radio bearer.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein receiving the grant comprises:
receiving an allocation of bits for a first configured data flow of the identified plurality of configured data flows and an allocation of bits for a second configured data flow of the identified plurality of configured data flows.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2, wherein the allocation of bits for the first configured data flow is configured to satisfy a first QoS priority level, and wherein the allocation of bits for the second configured data flow is configured to satisfy a second QoS priority level that is lower than the first QoS priority level.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The method of claim 3, wherein the first QoS priority level comprises a guaranteed bit rate (GBR) and the second QoS priority level comprises a non-GBR.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, further comprising:
scheduling data traffic associated with the radio bearer based at least in part on the respective time window for each configured data flow of the identified plurality of configured data flows.

### Claim 6

A method for wireless communication at a network entity, comprising:
establishing a radio bearer with a user equipment (UE);
identifying a plurality of configured data flows mapped to the radio bearer; and
transmitting, to the UE, a grant for communications with the UE, the grant indicating a respective quality of service (QoS) parameter and a respective time window for which the UE averages the respective QoS parameter for each configured data flow of the identified plurality of configured data flows mapped to the radio bearer.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein transmitting the grant comprises:
transmitting an allocation of bits for a first configured data flow of the identified plurality of configured data flows and an allocation of bits for a second configured data flow of the identified plurality of configured data flows.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The method of claim 7, wherein the allocation of bits for the first configured data flow is configured to satisfy a first QoS priority level, and wherein the allocation of bits for the second configured data flow is configured to satisfy a second QoS priority level that is lower than the first QoS priority level.

### Claim 9 (depends on 8)

The method of claim 8, wherein the first QoS priority level comprises a guaranteed bit rate (GBR) and the second QoS priority level comprises a non-GBR.

### Claim 10

A user equipment (UE) for wireless communication comprising:
one or more memories storing processor-executable code; and
one or more processors coupled with the one or more memories and individually or collectively operable to execute the code to cause the UE to:
establish a radio bearer with a network entity;
identify a plurality of configured data flows mapped to the radio bearer; and
receive, from the network entity and after identifying the plurality of configured data flows mapped to the radio bearer, a grant for communications with the network entity, the grant indicating a respective quality of service (QoS) parameter and a respective time window for which the UE averages the respective QoS parameter for each configured data flow of the identified plurality of configured data flows mapped to the radio bearer.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The UE of claim 10, wherein, to receive the grant, the one or more processors are individually or collectively operable to execute the code to cause the UE to:
receive an allocation of bits for a first configured data flow of the identified plurality of configured data flows and an allocation of bits for a second configured data flow of the identified plurality of configured data flows.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The UE of claim 11, wherein:
the allocation of bits for the first configured data flow is configured to satisfy a first QoS priority level, and
the allocation of bits for the second configured data flow is configured to satisfy a second QoS priority level that is lower than the first QoS priority level.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The UE of claim 12, wherein the first QoS priority level comprises a guaranteed bit rate (GBR) and the second QoS priority level comprises a non-GBR.

### Claim 14

A network entity for wireless communication comprising:
one or more memories storing processor-executable code; and
one or more processors coupled with the one or more memories and individually or collectively operable to execute the code to cause the network entity to:
establish a radio bearer with a user equipment (UE);
identify a plurality of configured data flows mapped to the radio bearer; and
transmit, to the UE and after identifying the plurality of configured data flows mapped to the radio bearer, a grant for communications with the UE, the grant indicating a respective quality of service (QoS) parameter and a respective time window for which the UE averages the respective QoS parameter for each configured data flow of the identified plurality of configured data flows mapped to the radio bearer.
