## Abstract

A system for providing magnetic field audio signals to a receiver in an aquatic environment. The system includes an audio source configured to provide an electronic audio signal, and an induction loop amplifier configured to receive the electronic audio signal and convert the received electronic audio signal into a current. The system further includes a wire loop connected with the induction loop amplifier, the wire loop bounding at least part of the aquatic environment and around the receiver in the aquatic environment, the wire loop producing a magnetic field from the current to generate an audio frequency induction loop to transmit the electronic audio signal to the receiver in the aquatic environment.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A system for providing audio signals to a receiver in an aquatic environment from an audio source configured to provide the audio signals, the system comprising:
an induction loop amplifier configured to receive the audio signals and convert the received audio signals into a current; and
a wire loop connected with the induction loop amplifier, the wire loop bounding at least part of the aquatic environment and around the receiver in the aquatic environment, the wire loop producing a magnetic field from the current to generate an audio frequency induction loop to transmit the electronic audio signal to the receiver in the aquatic environment.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The system in accordance with claim 1, further comprising a lane line that traverses at least a part of the aquatic environment, the lane line carrying at least part of the wire loop.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The system in accordance with claim 1, wherein the induction loop amplifier is further configured to modulate the received audio signals for transmission on the wire loop.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The system in accordance with claim 1, wherein the wire loop is at least partially suspended above a surface of the water of the aquatic environment.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The system in accordance with claim 1, wherein the wire loop comprises a plurality of wire loops, each of the plurality of wire loops circumscribing at least a portion of the aquatic environment.

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

The system in accordance with claim 5, wherein each of the plurality of wire loops is configured to form a separate audio transmission and reception zone.

### Claim 7

A system for providing audio signals to a receiver in an aquatic environment from an audio source configured to provide the audio signals, the system comprising:
an induction loop amplifier configured to receive the audio signals and convert the received audio signals into a current, the induction loop amplifier having a plurality of outputs; and
one or more wire loops, each being connected with one of the plurality of outputs of the induction loop amplifier, each of the one or more wire loops bounding at least part of the aquatic environment and around the receiver in the aquatic environment, each wire loop producing a magnetic field from the current to generate an audio frequency induction loop to transmit the electronic audio signal to the receiver in the aquatic environment.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The system in accordance with claim 7, further comprising a lane line that traverses at least a part of the aquatic environment, the lane line carrying at least part of one of the one or more wire loops.

### Claim 9 (depends on 7)

The system in accordance with claim 7, wherein the induction loop amplifier is further configured to modulate the received audio signals for transmission on selected ones of the one or more wire loops.

### Claim 10 (depends on 7)

The system in accordance with claim 7, wherein at least one of the one or more wire loops is at least partially suspended above a surface of the water of the aquatic environment.

### Claim 11 (depends on 7)

The system in accordance with claim 7, wherein each of the one or more wire loops circumscribes at least a portion of the aquatic environment separately from each other wire loop.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The system in accordance with claim 11, wherein each of the one or more wire loops is configured to form a separate audio transmission and reception zone.

### Claim 13

A system for providing audio signals to a receiver in an aquatic environment from an audio source configured to provide the audio signals, the system comprising:
an induction loop amplifier configured to receive the audio signals and convert the received audio signals into a plurality of currents, each of the plurality of currents carrying a portion of the received audio signals, the induction loop amplifier having a plurality of outputs; and
one or more wire loops, each being connected with one of the plurality of outputs of the induction loop amplifier, each of the one or more wire loops bounding at least part of the aquatic environment and around the receiver in the aquatic environment, each wire loop producing a magnetic field from one of the plurality of currents to generate an audio frequency induction loop to transmit the electronic audio signal to the receiver in the aquatic environment.

### Claim 14 (depends on 13)

The system in accordance with claim 13, further comprising a lane line that traverses at least a part of the aquatic environment, the lane line carrying at least part of one of the one or more wire loops.

### Claim 15 (depends on 13)

The system in accordance with claim 13, wherein the induction loop amplifier is further configured to modulate the received audio signals for transmission on selected ones of the one or more wire loops.

### Claim 16 (depends on 13)

The system in accordance with claim 13, wherein at least one of the one or more wire loops is at least partially suspended above a surface of the water of the aquatic environment.
