Method and facility for producing material containing hydrated cement

A method for processing material that contains cement rock, the method comprising:

• comminuting the material in a first comminuting device;
• feeding the material to a reactor in which the material is mixed with an aqueous liquid and CO2, wherein a mixing movement of the material is generated in the reactor;
• maintaining a temperature in the reactor at greater than 100° C. and maintaining a pressure in the reactor to be greater than an atmospheric pressure;
• and
• removing the material from the reactor and subdividing the material into at least two fractions via a classifying device, wherein the at least two fractions include at least a coarse fraction and middle fraction and wherein the coarse fraction is larger than 16 mm and the middle fraction is smaller than 16 mm, further comprising returning the coarse fraction of the at least two fractions to the reactor and comminuting the coarse fraction in a second comminuting device before returning the coarse fraction to the reactor.
