Claims17
A patient support apparatus comprising:
- a frame,
- a headboard and footboard coupled to the frame,
- a pair of side rails coupled to the frame,
- a control module positioned on the frame,
- a graphical user interface in communication with the control module, wherein the graphical user interface displays a plurality of screens for controlling various functions of the patient support apparatus, wherein each of the plurality of screens includes a first selectable icon that, in response to being selected, causes the graphical user interface to display a first of the plurality of screens having user inputs that enable a user to input an exercise regimen into the control module and a second selectable icon that, in response to being selected, causes the graphical user interface to display a second of the plurality of screens having user inputs to control non-exercise related functions of the patient support apparatus, wherein the exercise regimen includes at least one of a number of sets, a number of repetitions, and a resistance, and
- an exercise apparatus coupled to the frame and in communication with the control module, wherein the control module is configured to control an operation of the exercise apparatus based on the exercise regimen, wherein the control module tracks a user's progress of the exercise regimen, wherein the graphical user interface displays data related to the user's progress of the exercise
- wherein the exercise apparatus includes foot pedals, a pair of arm levers, and a head section of the frame that raises and lowers as the user performs sit ups;
