## Abstract

A wheat variety designated 6PFEZ17B, the plants and seeds of wheat variety 6PFEZ17B, methods for producing a wheat plant produced by crossing the variety 6PFEZ17B with another wheat plant, and hybrid wheat seeds and plants produced by crossing the variety 6PFEZ17B with another wheat line or plant, and the creation of variants by backcrossing, mutagenesis or transformation of variety 6PFEZ17B are disclosed. Methods for producing other wheat varieties or breeding lines derived from wheat variety 6PFEZ17B and to wheat varieties or breeding lines produced by those methods are also provided.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A plant, plant part, seed, or plant cell of wheat variety 6PFEZ17B, representative seed of said variety having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202110030.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

An F1 wheat seed produced from (i) selfing the plant or plant part of claim 1 or (ii) a single crossing of the plant or plant part of claim 1 with a different wheat plant or plant part.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

A wheat plant or plant part produced by growing the wheat seed of claim 2.

### Claim 4 (depends on 2)

The wheat seed of claim 2, wherein the seed is an F1 hybrid wheat seed.

### Claim 5 (depends on 3)

A method for producing a progeny seed, the method comprising crossing the wheat plant of claim 3, to a plant of wheat variety 6PFEZ17B, representative seed of said variety having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202110030 and producing a progeny seed.

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

The method of claim 5, wherein the method further comprises crossing a plant grown from the progeny seed to a plant of wheat variety 6PFEZ17B and producing a backcrossed seed.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The backcrossed seed produced by the method of claim 6.

### Claim 8 (depends on 3)

A method for producing a second wheat plant, the method comprising applying plant breeding techniques to the wheat plant or plant part of claim 3, wherein application of said techniques results in the production of a second wheat plant.

### Claim 9 (depends on 3)

A method for producing a second wheat plant, the method comprising doubling haploid seed generated from a cross of the wheat plant or plant part of claim 3 with a different wheat plant.

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

A method comprising cleaning the seed of claim 1.

### Claim 11 (depends on 1)

The seed of claim 1, further comprising a seed treatment on the surface of the seed.

### Claim 12 (depends on 1)

A method for producing nucleic acids, the method comprising isolating nucleic acids from the plant, plant part, seed, or plant cell of claim 1.

### Claim 13

A wheat plant produced by introducing a locus conversion into wheat variety 6PFEZ17B, wherein the locus conversion was introduced by backcrossing or genetic transformation into wheat variety 6PFEZ17B and wherein a sample of wheat variety 6PFEZ17B has been deposited under NCMA Accession No. 202110030.

### Claim 14 (depends on 13)

The wheat plant of claim 13, wherein the locus conversion comprises a transgene.

### Claim 15

A plant, plant part, seed, or plant cell of wheat variety 6PFEZ17B, representative seed of said variety having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202110030, further comprising a locus conversion.

### Claim 16 (depends on 15)

The plant, plant part, seed, or plant cell of claim 15, wherein the locus conversion confers a trait selected from the group consisting of male sterility, abiotic stress tolerance, altered phosphate content, altered protein, altered antioxidants, altered fatty acids, altered essential amino acids, altered carbohydrates, herbicide resistance, insect resistance and disease resistance, wherein the altered trait is compared with a similar plant not comprising the locus conversion.

### Claim 17 (depends on 15)

A tissue culture produced from the plant, plant part, seed, or plant cell of claim 15.

### Claim 18 (depends on 15)

A wheat seed produced by crossing the plant of claim 15 with a different wheat plant.

### Claim 19 (depends on 18)

A wheat plant produced by growing the wheat seed of claim 18.

### Claim 20 (depends on 19)

A method for producing a second wheat plant comprising applying plant breeding techniques to the wheat plant of claim 19, wherein application of said techniques results in the production of a second wheat plant.
