Imaging device, storage medium, and method of controlling imaging device

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium configured to store a computer program for an imaging device to execute the following steps:

• detecting a subject in an image;
• setting a plurality of focus regions in the images in accordance with positional information of a subject detected in the image;
• determining respective driving amounts for driving a focus lens and for tilting at least one of an image sensor and an imaging optical system with respect to a surface orthogonal to an optical axis of the imaging optical system based on the positional information and focal information of the plurality of focus regions so that the plurality of focus regions is in focus;
• and
• driving the focus lens and tilting at least one of the image sensor and the imaging optical system based on the determined respective driving amounts,
• wherein in the setting, a plurality of regions which include the subjects a predetermined amount or more away from each other in a vertical direction to a tilting axis in the image among the subjects detected in the image is set as the focus regions.

A method of controlling an imaging device, the method comprising:

• detecting a subject in an image;
• setting a plurality of focus regions in an image in accordance with positional information of a subject detected in the image;
• determining respective driving amounts for driving a focus lens and for tilting at least one of an image sensor and an imaging optical system with respect to a surface orthogonal to an optical axis of the imaging optical system based on the positional information and focal information of the plurality of focus regions so that the plurality of focus regions is in focus;
• and
• driving the focus lens and tilting at least one of the image sensor and the imaging optical system based on the determined respective driving amounts,
• wherein in the setting, a plurality of regions which include the subjects a predetermined amount or more away from each other in a vertical direction to a tilting axis in the image among the subjects detected in the image is set as the focus regions.
