## Abstract

An end user premises device is provided that includes a memory, one or more transceivers, and one or more processors. The one or more transceivers are configured to communicate with one or more stations in a network and a client device. The one or more processors are configured to receive a first user request for data from the client device using the one or more transceivers, determine a first point in time for retrieving the data based on an amount of charge in batteries of the one or more stations in the network, retrieve, at the first point in time, the data from a remote server via the network using the one or more transceivers, store the data in the memory, and in response to a second user request, transmit the data to the client device using the one or more transceivers.

## Claims

### Claim 1

An end user premises device comprising:
a memory;
one or more transceivers configured to communicate with one or more stations in a network and a client device; and
one or more processors configured to:
predict data for the client device, wherein the data is to be accessed by the client device at a first point in time;
retrieve, at a second point in time before the first point in time, the predicted data via the network using the one or more transceivers;
receive a first user request for data from the client device;
transmit the retrieved data to the client device;
receive a second user request for data from the client device;
determine a third point in time for retrieving the data based on an amount of charge in batteries of the one or more stations in the network;
retrieve, at the third point in time, the data via the network using the one or more transceivers;
receive a third user request for data from the client device; and
transmit the retrieved data to the client device.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The end user premises device of claim 1, wherein the one or more stations have limited power supply.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The end user premises device of claim 1, wherein the one or more stations are solar-powered high-altitude platform (HAP) stations.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The end user premises device of claim 1, wherein the third point in time is chosen to be during time frames when the amount of charge in batteries of the one or more stations are above a threshold amount.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The end user premises device of claim 1, wherein when the amount of charge in batteries drops below a threshold amount, the one or more stations enter a conservation mode until the batteries are charged.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The end user premises device of claim 1, wherein the one or more processors are further configured to determine that the third user request includes a request for the data.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The end user premises device of claim 1, wherein the second point in time is during off-peak hours and before a fourth point in time that the client device is likely to access the retrieved data.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The end user premises device of claim 7, wherein the one or more processors are further configured to determine the fourth point in time based on an access time included in the third user request.

### Claim 9 (depends on 7)

The end user premises device of claim 7, wherein the one or more processors are further configured to determine the fourth point in time based on an activity history at the client device.

### Claim 10

A network comprising:
an end user premises device that includes:
a memory;
one or more transceivers configured to communicate with one or more stations in the network and a client device; and
one or more processors configured to:
predict data for the client device, wherein the data is to be accessed by the client device at a first point in time;
retrieve, at a second point in time before the first point in time, the predicted data from via the network using the one or more transceivers;
receive a first user request for data from the client device;
transmit the retrieved data to the client device;
receive a second user request for data from the client device;
determine a third point in time for retrieving the data based on an amount of charge in batteries of the one or more stations in the network;
retrieve, at the third point in time, the data via the network using the one or more transceivers;
receive a third user request for data from the client device; and
transmit the retrieved data to the client device.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The network of claim 10, wherein the one or more stations have limited power supply.

### Claim 12 (depends on 10)

The network of claim 10, wherein the one or more stations are solar-powered high-altitude platform (HAP) stations.

### Claim 13 (depends on 10)

The network of claim 10, wherein when the amount of charge in batteries drops below a threshold amount, the one or more stations enter a conservation mode until the batteries are charged.

### Claim 14 (depends on 10)

The network of claim 10, wherein the one or more processors are further configured to determine that the third user request includes a request for the data.

### Claim 15 (depends on 10)

The network of claim 10, wherein the second point in time is during off-peak hours and before a fourth point in time that the client device is likely to access the retrieved data.

### Claim 16 (depends on 15)

The network of claim 15, wherein the one or more processors are further configured to determine the fourth point in time based on an access time included in the third user request.

### Claim 17 (depends on 15)
