## Abstract

A node of an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) network comprises processor circuitry and interface circuitry. The processor circuitry is configured to make a determination concerning crosslink interference (CLI) between (a) a beam transmitted from a parent node to the IAB node and (b) a beam transmitted from the IBA node to a child node of the IAB node; and in accordance with the determination, and to generate a command configured to modify a property of the beam transmitted from the parent node to the IAB node. The interface circuitry is configured to transmit the command to a beam controller of the parent node.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A node of an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) network, the node comprising:
processor circuitry configured:
to make a determination concerning crosslink interference (CLI) between (a) a beam transmitted from a parent node to the IAB node and (b) a beam transmitted from the IAB node to a child node of the IAB node; and
in accordance with the determination, to generate a command configured to modify a property of the beam transmitted from the parent node to the IAB node;
interface circuitry configured to transmit the command to a beam controller of the parent node.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The node of claim 1, wherein command is configured to modify signal strength of the beam transmitted from the parent node to the IAB node.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The node of claim 1, wherein the processor circuitry is configured to make the determination based at least in part on relative positions of:
the parent node;
the IAB node; and
other nodes for which IAB node acts as a relay node.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The node of claim 1, wherein the processor circuitry is configured to make the determination based at least in part on radio frequency (RF) conditions for:
the parent node;
the TAB node; and
other nodes for which TAB node acts as a relay node.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The node of claim 1, wherein the processor circuitry is configured to use configuration data to make the determination concerning the crosslink interference (CLI).

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

The node of claim 5, wherein the configuration data comprises:
first reconfiguration data related to an estimation of radio frequency (RF) signal strength of the beam transmitted by the parent node to the IAB node and
second reconfiguration data related to an estimation of radio frequency (RF) signal strength of the beam transmitted by the IAB node to the child node.

### Claim 7

A node of an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) network comprising:
an interface configured to obtain a command configured in accordance with a determination concerning crosslink interference (CLI) between (a) a beam transmitted from the node to a wireless relay node and (b) a beam transmitted from the wireless relay node to a child node of the wireless relay node;
beam transmission circuitry configured to use the command to modify a property of the beam transmitted from the node to the wireless relay node.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The node of claim 7, wherein the command is received from the wireless relay node.

### Claim 9 (depends on 7)

The node of claim 7, further comprising:
data generation circuitry configured to generate configuration data for use by the processor which makes the determination concerning the crosslink interference (CLI);
transmitter circuitry configured to transmit the configuration data to the wireless relay node over a radio interface; and
receiver circuitry configured to receive the beam modification command from the wireless relay node over the radio interface.

### Claim 10 (depends on 7)

The node of claim 7, wherein the processor circuitry which makes the determination comprises the node.

### Claim 11 (depends on 7)

The node of claim 7, further comprising data generation circuitry configured to generate configuration data for use by the processor which makes the determination concerning the crosslink interference (CLI).
