## Abstract

A stator includes a yoke extending in a circumferential direction about an axis line, a tooth extending from the yoke in a first direction toward the axis line, and a coil wound around and fixed to the tooth. The yoke has an inner wall surface facing the axis line. The tooth has a root part connected to the yoke. The inner wall surface of the yoke is a flat surface extending from an end of the root part of the tooth in the circumferential direction to an inner circumferential side relative to a plane passing through the end and perpendicular to the first direction.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A winding method comprising the steps of:
preparing a stator core having a yoke extending in a circumferential direction about an axis line and a tooth extending from the yoke in a first direction toward the axis line; and
winding a plurality of layers of a coil around the tooth by repeating a step of winding one layer of the coil around the tooth and a step of securing the wound one layer of the coil,
wherein in the step of securing the wound one layer of the coil, an adhesive agent is applied to the wound one layer of the coil and cured.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The winding method according to claim 1,
wherein the adhesive agent is an ultraviolet-curable adhesive agent, and
wherein the adhesive agent is irradiated with ultraviolet rays in the step of curing the adhesive agent.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The winding method according to claim 1,
wherein the yoke has a first yoke part connected to a root part of the tooth, a second yoke part adjacent to the first yoke part in the circumferential direction, and a split surface formed between a center of the first yoke part in the circumferential direction and a center of the second yoke part in the circumferential direction, and
wherein, in the step of winding the plurality of layers of the coil around the tooth, winding is performed in a state where the stator core is opened at the split surface of the yoke.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The winding method according to claim 1,
wherein in the step of winding the plurality of layers of the coil around the tooth, winding is performed so that a number of turns decreases with increase in distance from the tooth.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The winding method according to claim 1,
wherein the tooth has a flange part at its tip end, and
wherein, in the step of winding the plurality of layers of the coil around the tooth, winding is performed so that the coil is guided by a root part of the tooth and the flange part of the tooth.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The winding method according to claim 1,
wherein the yoke has an inner wall surface facing the axis line, and
wherein, in the step of winding the plurality of layers of the coil around the tooth, winding is performed so that an envelope of the coil extends along the inner wall surface.
