Furniture connecting fitting

A furniture connecting fitting, comprising:

• a base;
• a mechanical linkage connected directly or indirectly to the base, the mechanical linkage including a plurality of levers and pivotal connections configured to move a door or a hatch between a closed position and an open position;
• and
• an actuating arrangement including a holder and an actuator, one of the holder and the actuator being connected to the mechanical linkage such that the one of the holder and the actuator is movable with a part of the mechanical linkage, the actuating arrangement selectively interchangeable between a first mode of operation and a second mode of operation;
• in the first mode of operation, the actuating arrangement contains a fluid damper configured to be received between the actuator and the holder to dampen motion of the actuator relative to the holder in a damping direction and the actuating arrangement does not include a spring received between the actuator and the holder;
• and
• in a second mode of operation, the actuating arrangement contains the spring configured to be received between the actuator and the holder to apply a spring force between the actuator and the holder opposite to the damping direction and the actuating arrangement does not include the fluid damper;
• the actuating arrangement includes a support part including at least one retaining element;
• one of the levers of the mechanical linkage includes a plurality of blocking pieces configured such that the at least one retaining element is configured to be selectively engaged with different ones of the plurality of blocking pieces to define different mounting positions of the actuating arrangement relative to the mechanical linkage such that the actuator of the actuating arrangement is in different positions relative to the mechanical linkage in the different mounting positions.
