Abstract
Disclosed are cyclopentene compounds and compositions containing one or more odorless lipophilic compounds cyclopentene compounds. The compositions can be applied to scalp where they stimulate hair follicles resulting in hair growth and visibly improved human hair.
Claims19
A compound of Formula 1:
- wherein R1 is substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or alkenyl having 2 to 30 carbon atoms and R2 is hydrogen or C1 alkyl, wherein substituents on the substituted alkyl or alkenyl are selected from the group consisting of hydroxy and alkoxy.
A compound of Formula II:
- wherein R1 is substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or alkenyl having 2 to 30 carbon atoms and each R2 is hydrogen or C1 alkyl, wherein substituents on the substituted alkyl or alkenyl are selected from the group consisting of hydroxy and alkoxy.
A composition comprising at least one compound of Formula I
- and/or Formula II
- wherein R1 is substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl having 2 to 30 carbon atoms and each R2 is hydrogen or C1 alkyl, wherein substituents on the substituted alkyl or substituted alkenyl are selected from the group consisting of hydroxy and alkoxy.
