## Abstract

Disclosed herein is a method for alleviating a chronic liver disease, comprising administrating to a subject in need thereof a pharmaceutical composition containing rosoxacin.

### Claim 1

A method for alleviating a chronic liver disease, comprising administrating to a subject in need thereof a pharmaceutical composition containing rosoxacin, wherein the chronic liver disease is selected from the group consisting of a fatty liver disease, hepatitis, hepatic fibrosis, hepatic cirrhosis, and combinations thereof.

The method according to claim 1, wherein the chronic liver disease is a fatty liver disease.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the chronic liver disease is hepatic fibrosis.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the pharmaceutical composition further contains a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

The method according to claim 1, where in the pharmaceutical composition is in a dosage form selected from the group consisting of an oral dosage form, a topical dosage form, and a parenteral dosage form.
