## Abstract

In various embodiments, a light emitting diode (LED) lamp is provided. The LED lamp may include a base; a first housing having a first end and a second end, the first end secured to the base; a second housing having at least in part a partially conical shape, an end of the second housing having a smaller diameter secured to the second end of the first housing; at least one LED secured within the second; driver circuitry secured within the LED flood lamp between the end of the base and the at least one LED; a reflector having a partially conical shape; and a diffuser element secured to at least one of a wider end of the reflector or the end of the second housing having the larger diameter. In some embodiments, the first or second housing may include one or more vents.

## Claims

### Claim 1

An assembly comprising:
a first housing;
a second housing having one or more lighting elements positioned therein; and
a hollow region being defined radially between the first housing and the second housing,
wherein the first housing comprises one or more vents located at a position other than a proximal and a distal end thereof.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The assembly according to claim 1, further comprising driver circuitry located inside the first housing and not open to the outside.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The assembly according to claim 2, wherein a portion of the second housing other than a seat portion of the second housing comprises one or more fins.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The assembly according to claim 1, wherein:
an inner reflector having a size less than a size of the second housing is positioned within a portion of the second housing other than a seat portion of the second housing; and
an unvented chamber defined between the second housing and the inner reflector is not open to the outside.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The assembly according to claim 1, wherein the second housing is configured to facilitate heat transfer to the outside.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The assembly according to claim 1, wherein the one or more lighting elements are one or more LEDs.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The assembly according to claim 6, wherein:
an inner reflector having a size less than a size of the second housing is positioned within a portion of the second housing other than a seat portion of the second housing;
the one or more LEDs are fluidly isolated from the one or more vents; and
the inner reflector is in thermal communication with the one or more LEDs.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The assembly according to claim 1, wherein the hollow region is vented to an outside of the second housing only via the one or more vents.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The assembly according to claim 1, wherein a portion of the second housing comprises one or more fins, and wherein fluid flow into and out of the one or more vents circulates around the portion of the one or more fins.

### Claim 10

An assembly comprising:
a first housing; and
a second housing having one or more fins, wherein the one or more fins extend transverse from the second housing,
wherein a portion of the one or more fins define, in part, a hollow region between the first housing and the second housing.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The assembly according to claim 10, further comprising driver circuitry located inside the first housing and not open to the hollow region.

### Claim 12 (depends on 10)

The assembly according to claim 10, further comprising an inner reflector concentrically smaller than the second housing and positioned within the second housing.

### Claim 13 (depends on 10)

The assembly according to claim 10, wherein the hollow region is vented to the outside of the assembly only via one or more vents located on the first housing.

### Claim 14 (depends on 10)

The assembly according to claim 10, further comprising an inner reflector positioned within the second housing, wherein:
a chamber is defined between a portion of the inner reflector and the second housing; and
