Abstract
The present invention provides a vaccine for rabies virus and methods of making and using the vaccine alone, or in combinations with other protective agents.

A vaccine to aid in the prevention of disease due to rabies virus comprising a Venezuelan Equine Encephalitis (VEE) alphavirus RNA replicon particle (RP), and comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding a rabies virus antigen and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier;
