Device comprising an electronic unit, set comprising a device of this kind, associated use, and method for utilizing a set of this kind

A device for use as a tool for presentation and training in project or group work, the device comprising:

• a housing comprising an interior, wherein the housing has at least three corners and at least three edges, which connect the corners to one another and border a flat surface segment, and wherein the housing is configured to abut on corners, edges, or surface segments of a similar device,
• wherein cages are configured in the interior at least in each corner and/or at least in the edges and/or in grids adjacent to the flat surface segment,
• wherein a permanent magnet is arranged in each of the cages in a captive and moveable manner, so that all the magnets can orient themselves, depending on polarization,
• wherein the housing comprises an electronic unit comprising:
• a data memory, on which at least one ID number is electronically stored,
• a switch having a switch area arranged on the flat surface segment, the switch area being flat with the flat surface segment and not protruding from the flat surface segment so as not to be actuated when a flat surface segment of another device is in contact with the flat surface segment comprising the switch, the switch being manually actuated by pressing on the switch area by a user, and
• a transmitter connected to the switch and to the data memory, the transmitter comprising an antenna, and
• wherein when the switch is actuated by pressing on the switch area by the user, the transmitter wirelessly transmits at least the ID number to a controller and a process is triggered in which the user assigns the device a name or meaning within the scope of the project or group work.
