Abstract
Fluid systems are described herein. An example embodiment of a fluid system has a first body portion, a second body portion, a plurality of supports, a plurality of fluid pressurizers, and a plurality of ducts. The first body portion and the second body portion cooperatively define an injection opening, a suction opening, and a channel that extends from the injection opening to the suction opening. The fluid pressurizer is disposed within the channel cooperatively defined by the first body portion and the second body portion. Each duct of the plurality of ducts is disposed within the channel cooperatively defined by the first body portion and the second body portion.
Claims20
A fluid system comprising:
- a first body portion, a second body portion, and a third body, the first body portion having a leading edge and a trailing edge, the first body portion and the second body portion cooperatively defining a first injection opening between the leading edge and the trailing edge, the first body portion and the third body portion cooperatively defining a second injection opening between the leading edge and the trailing edge, the first body portion, the second body portion, and the third body portion cooperatively defining a first opening and a channel, the channel extending from the first opening to the first injection opening and the second injection opening;
- and
- a fluid pressurizer disposed within the channel.
A fluid system comprising:
- a first body portion, a second body portion attached to the first body portion, and a third body portion attached to the first body portion, the first body portion, the second body portion, and the third body portion defining the wing of an aircraft, the first body portion having a leading edge and a trailing edge, the first body portion and the second body portion cooperatively defining a first injection opening between the leading edge and the trailing edge, the first body portion and the third body portion cooperatively defining a second injection opening between the leading edge and the trailing edge, the first body portion, the second body portion, and the third body portion cooperatively defining a first opening and a channel, the first opening defined at the trailing edge, the channel extending from the first opening to the first injection opening and the second injection opening;
- a first valve moveable between a first configuration and a second configuration, the first valve preventing fluid from flowing into the channel through the first opening when in the first configuration, the first valve allowing fluid to flow through the first opening and into the channel when in the second configuration;
- a second valve moveable between a first configuration and a second configuration, the second valve allowing fluid to flow through the second injection opening when in the first configuration, the second valve preventing fluid from passing through the second injection opening when in the second configuration;
- and
- a fluid pressurizer disposed within the channel.
A fluid system comprising:
- a first body portion, a second body portion attached to the first body portion, a third body portion attached to the first body portion, the first body portion including a component that is moveable relative to the second body portion, the first body portion, the second body portion, the third body portion, and the component defining the wing of an aircraft, the first body portion having a leading edge and a trailing edge, the first body portion and the second body portion cooperatively defining a first injection opening between the leading edge and the trailing edge, the first body portion and the third body portion cooperatively defining a second injection opening between the leading edge and the trailing edge, the first body portion, the second body portion, and the third body portion cooperatively defining a first opening and a channel, the channel extending from the first opening to the first injection opening and the second injection opening, the component and the second body portion cooperatively defining a first suction opening between the leading edge and the trailing edge, the component and the second body portion cooperatively defining a second suction opening between the leading edge and the trailing edge;
- a first valve moveable between a first configuration and a second configuration, the first valve preventing fluid from passing through the first injection opening when in the first configuration, the first valve allowing fluid to flow through the first injection opening when in the second configuration;
- a second valve moveable between a first configuration and a second configuration, the second valve preventing fluid from passing through the first suction opening when in the first configuration, the second valve allowing fluid to flow through the first suction opening when in the second configuration;
- a third valve moveable between a first configuration and a second configuration, the third valve preventing fluid from passing through the second injection opening when in the first configuration, the third valve allowing fluid to flow through the second injection opening when in the second configuration;
- a fourth valve moveable between a first configuration and a second configuration, the fourth valve preventing fluid from passing through the second suction opening when in the first configuration, the fourth valve allowing fluid to flow through the second suction opening when in the second configuration;
- and
- a fluid pressurizer disposed within the channel.
