Printing apparatus and control method

A printing apparatus comprising:

• a pair of rollers configured to convey a printing medium;
• a control unit configured to cause the pair of rollers to hold the printing medium onto which printing has been performed by a printing unit;
• and
• an operation panel configured to receive an ejection instruction for instructing to eject the printing medium, wherein
• the control unit controls the pair of rollers to eject the printing medium to outside of the printing apparatus, after receiving the ejection instruction, at a predetermined speed lower than a conveyance speed for printing by the printing unit.

A control method of a printing apparatus having a pair of rollers configured to convey a printing medium, the method comprising:

• causing the pair of rollers to hold the printing medium onto which printing has been performed by a printing unit;
• receiving an ejection instruction for instructing to eject the printing medium;
• and
• controlling, after receiving the ejection instruction, the pair of rollers to eject the printing medium to outside of the printing apparatus at a predetermined speed lower than a conveyance speed for printing by the printing unit.
