Abstract
An electronic timepiece includes: a first indicator and a second indicator that are configured to rotate in combination with each other; an operation receiver; and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to set a set position that is to be indicated by the second indicator in response to an input operation received by the operation receiver. The at least one processor is configured to cause the first indicator and the second indicator to temporarily stop rotating in combination with each other at a timing when the second indicator indicates the set position, and cause the first indicator and the second indicator to resume rotating in combination with each other after a set time passes.
Claims14
An electronic timepiece comprising:
- a first indicator and a second indicator that are configured to rotate in combination with each other;
- an operation receiver;
- and
- at least one processor configured to:
- set a set position that is to be indicated by the second indicator in response to an input operation received by the operation receiver;
- in a situation where the second indicator would pass through the set position multiple times after the set position is set while the first indicator is rotating to a target indication position, cause the first indicator and the second indicator to temporarily stop rotating in combination with each other only at a timing when the second indicator initially indicates the set position;
- and
- cause the first indicator and the second indicator to resume rotating in combination with each other after a set time passes.
An indication control method for an electronic timepiece that includes a first indicator and a second indicator configured to rotate in combination with each other, and an operation receiver, the indication control method comprising:
- setting a set position that is to be indicated by the second indicator in response to an input operation received by the operation receiver;
- in a situation where the second indicator would pass through the set position multiple times after the set position is set while the first indicator is rotating to a target indication position, causing the first indicator and the second indicator to temporarily stop rotating in combination with each other only at a timing when the second indicator initially indicates the set position;
- and
- causing the first indicator and the second indicator to resume rotating in combination with each other after a set time passes.
