Abstract
A catalyst including platinum (Pt) and a composite support. The composite support includes ZrO2/mesoporous silica sieve SBA-15. The platinum accounts for 0.01-0.3 wt. % of the catalyst. ZrO2 accounts for 5-20 wt. % of the composite support.

A composition of matter, comprising:
- platinum (Pt);
- and
- a composite support, the composite support comprising ZrO2/mesoporous silica sieve SBA-15;
- wherein:
- ZrO2 accounts for 5-20 wt. % of the composite support;
- and
- the platinum accounts for 0.05-0.15 wt. % of the composition of matter.
