Abstract
Wireless communications are described. A wireless device may receive grants for transmission in uplink time intervals. The time intervals may overlap. The grants for transmission may include grants for transmission via cells of different cell groups. A cell of one of the cell groups may be an unlicensed cell. Transmission power for one of the time intervals may be adjusted. The transmission power adjustment may be based on one of the time intervals starting later than another one of the time intervals and a listen before talk procedure indicating a clear channel for one of the cells.
Claims48
A method comprising:
- receiving, by a wireless device, a first grant for transmission in a first uplink time interval via an unlicensed cell of a first cell group;
- receiving a second grant for transmission in a second uplink time interval via a second cell of a second cell group;
- and
- based on the second uplink time interval starting later than the first uplink time interval by a threshold timing difference and based on a listen before talk (LBT) procedure indicating a clear channel for the unlicensed cell, causing transmission in the second uplink time interval via the second cell and using an adjusted transmission power.
A wireless device comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:
- receive a first grant for transmission in a first uplink time interval via an unlicensed cell of a first cell group;
- receive a second grant for transmission in a second uplink time interval via a second cell of a second cell group;
- and
- based on the second uplink time interval starting later than the first uplink time interval by a threshold timing difference and based on a listen before talk (LBT) procedure indicating a clear channel for the unlicensed cell, cause transmission in the second uplink time interval via the second cell and using an adjusted transmission power.
A system comprising:
- a base station;
- and
- a wireless device;
- wherein the base station configured to:
- transmit a first grant for transmission in a first uplink time interval via an unlicensed cell of a first cell group;
- and
- transmit a second grant for transmission in a second uplink time interval via a second cell of a second cell group;
- and
- wherein the wireless device configured to:
- based on the second uplink time interval starting later than the first uplink time interval by a threshold timing difference and based on a listen before talk (LBT) procedure indicating a clear channel for the unlicensed cell, cause the transmission in the second uplink time interval via the second cell and using an adjusted transmission power.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed, configure a wireless device to:
- receive a first grant for transmission in a first uplink time interval via an unlicensed cell of a first cell group;
- receive a second grant for transmission in a second uplink time interval via a second cell of a second cell group;
- and
- based on the second uplink time interval starting later than the first uplink time interval by a threshold timing difference and based on a listen before talk (LBT) procedure indicating a clear channel for the unlicensed cell, cause transmission in the second uplink time interval via the second cell and using an adjusted transmission power.
