Synchronized playback within a client interface utilising web technologies

A client apparatus for initiating synchronized playback within a user interface, the client apparatus comprising:

• a memory that stores a program;
• and
• at least one processor that executes the program stored in the memory to perform:
• receiving a plurality of data from a plurality of sources;
• processing the plurality of data so that the plurality of data is compatible with the user interface;
• generating a metadata object to facilitate sync playback on the user interface;
• searching for data using a first time format that is not natively supported by the user interface and converting the first time format into a second time format that is natively supported by the user interface;
• synchronizing between a plurality of videos using a controller from the generated metadata object, wherein each video from the plurality of videos is represented as a sequence in the user interface.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program that, when executed by a computer, causes the computer to perform a method for initiating synchronized playback within a user interface, the method comprising:

• receiving a plurality of data from a plurality of sources;
• processing the plurality of data so that the plurality of data is compatible with the user interface;
• generating a metadata object to facilitate sync playback on the user interface;
• searching for data using a first time format that is not natively supported by the user interface and converting the first time format into a second time format that is natively supported by the user interface;
• synchronizing between a plurality of videos using a controller from the generated metadata object, wherein each video from the plurality of videos is represented as a sequence in the user interface.
