Abstract
Devices, systems and methods for encoding and decoding digital video using a look-up tables (LUTs) containing motion candidates are described. In a representative aspect, a method of video processing includes maintaining one or more tables, wherein at least one table of the one or more tables is associated with one or more entries, deriving, based on a first set of motion candidates in the at least one table, a second set of motion candidates, and performing, based on the second set of motion candidates, a conversion between a current block of a video and a bitstream representation of the video.
Claims20
A method of processing video data, comprising:
- maintaining one or more tables, wherein at least one table of the one or more tables is associated with one or more entries;
- deriving, based on a first set of motion candidates in the at least one table, a second set of motion candidates;
- and
- performing, based on the second set of motion candidates, a conversion between a current block of a video and a bitstream of the video, wherein at least one motion candidate of the second set of motion candidates is derived by modifying at least one motion candidate of the first set of motion candidates and is added to a motion candidate list, and wherein the conversion is based on the motion candidate list.
An apparatus for processing video data comprising a processor and a non-transitory memory with instructions thereon, wherein the instructions upon execution by the processor, cause the processor to:
- maintain one or more tables, wherein at least one table of the one or more tables is associated with one or more entries;
- derive, based on a first set of motion candidates in the at least one table, a second set of motion candidates;
- and
- perform, based on the second set of motion candidates, a conversion between a current block of a video and a bitstream of the video, wherein at least one motion candidate of the second set of motion candidates is derived by modifying at last one motion candidate of the first set of motion candidates and is added to a motion candidate list, and wherein the conversion is based on the motion candidate list.
A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium storing a bitstream of a video which is generated by a method performed by a video processing apparatus, wherein the method comprises:
- maintaining one or more tables, wherein at least one table of the one or more tables is associated with one or more entries;
- deriving, based on a first set of motion candidates in the at least one table, a second set of motion candidates;
- and
- generating the bitstream based on the the second set of motion candidates, wherein at least one motion candidate of the second set of motion candidates is derived by modifying at least one motion candidate of the first set of motion candidates and is added to a motion candidate list, and wherein the generating the bitstream is based on the motion candidate list;
- and
- storing the bitstream in a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium.
