Abstract
A method for decoding a video according to the present invention may comprise: deriving a spatial merge candidate for a current block, generating a merge candidate list for the current block based on the spatial merge candidate, obtaining motion information for the current block based on the merge candidate list, and performing motion compensation for the current block based on the motion information. Herein, if the current block does not have a pre-defined shape or a size equal to or greater than a pre-defined size, the spatial merge candidate of the current block may be derived based on a block which have the pre-defined shape or a size equal to or greater than the pre-defined size, the block including the current block.
Claims7
A method for decoding a video, the method comprising:
- obtaining a residual coefficient of a current transform block;
- inverse-quantizing the residual coefficient;
- determining a transform type set of the current transform block;
- and
- obtaining a residual sample of the current transform block by performing inverse-transform for the current transform block based on the transform type set,
- wherein, in response to a case where a coding block including the current transform block is partitioned into two transform blocks, the transform type set of the current transform block is determined differently between when the coding block is partitioned in a horizontal direction and when the coding block is partitioned in a vertical direction, and
- wherein the coding block is obtained based on a tree-based block division including at least one of a quad division or a binary division.
A method for encoding a video, the method comprising:
- obtaining a residual sample of a current transform block;
- determining a transform type set of the current transform block;
- obtaining a transform coefficient of the current transform block by performing transform for the current transform block based on the transform type set;
- and
- obtaining a residual coefficient by quantizing the transform coefficient,
- wherein, in response to a case where a coding block including the current transform block is partitioned into two transform blocks, the transform type set of the current transform block is determined differently between when the coding block is partitioned in a horizontal direction and when the coding block is partitioned in a vertical direction, and
- wherein the coding block is obtained based on a tree-based block division including at least one of a quad division or a binary division.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium for storing data associated with a video signal, comprising:
- a data stream stored in the non-transitory computer-readable medium, the data stream comprising:
- information on a residual coefficient of a current transform block,
- wherein a residual sample of the current transform block is obtained by performing inverse-transform for an inverse-quantized residual coefficient of the current transform block,
- wherein the inverse-transform is performed based on a transform type set of the current transform block, and
- wherein, in response to a case where a coding block including the current transform block is partitioned into two transform blocks, the transform type set of the current transform block is determined differently between when the coding block is partitioned in a horizontal direction and when the coding block is partitioned in a vertical direction, and
- wherein the coding block is obtained based on a tree-based block division including at least one of a quad division or a binary division.
